Individual Trucking Services
LLC Formation (INCLUDING EIN)

In order to start a trucking company, you need to have a company entiity. We form your LLC for your trucking company in your home state. The final price is based on your state's formation fees. We also file for your new company entity's EIN number.

Interstate Operating Authority (MC Number)

A MC Number, short for Motor Carrier number, is a unique number assigned by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to transportation companies for regulatory compliance and safety monitoring purposes. Interstate trucking companies need a MC number but companies that only haul intrastate do not.

USDOT Number
A USDOT Number is a unique number assigned by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to trucking companies, freight brokers, and freight forwarders. Every trucking company needs to have an USDOT number.
BOC-3
This is a U.S. Federal Operating Authority requirement that designates legal agents upon whom process may be served. It pertains to civil lawsuits and is a requirement for operating authority. It is similar to a LLC or corporation registered agent.
TXDOT
The Texas Department of Transportation is the government agency responsible for overseeing the transportation infrastructure within the state of Texas. Texas trucking companies are required to obtain licensing with the TXDOT before conducting intrastate operations.
IFTA License Set Up
IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) is essentially road taxes that interstate trucking companies have to pay to each state. We fill our your IFTA registration documents and send it to your home state so that they can issue your trucking company an IFTA certificate and IFTA sticker decals to put on your trucks.
2290 (HVUT)

File your IRS Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (Form 2290). This is required for each truck you have with a GVW of 55,000 lbs. or more.

UCR
Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) is a tax filing in which individuals and companies engaged in operating commercial motor vehicles across state borders must register their businesses. Annual registration must be renewed by December 31 every year.
MCS-150 Biennial update
The MCS-150 biennial update is required by the FMCSA to be submitted every two years. Trucking company owners must file this update to ensure your company's information, such as mileage, fleet additions and safety information is up to date.
BOC-3

Authority Address Change
Whenever a carrier changes its business or mailing address, they need to update their address on both their MC and USDOT number with the FMCSA.
USDOT PIN duplicate
This USDOT Pin Number is code that is used for accessing federal motor carrier safety scores, completing biennial updates and even filing and MCS-150 form. If this code is forgotten or lost, we help with obtaining a new one.
New Mexico Weight Distance
In New Mexico, it is mandatory to obtain the New Mexico Weight Distance Tax Permit for all vehicles with a gross weight exceeding 26,000 pounds, for both interstate and intrastate operations.
New York HUT Permit
The New York HUT permit is a sticker required for all vehicles traveling within New York with a registered GVW of 18,001 pounds or more.
Kentucky KYU Number
This is a tax license that is issued for the Kentucky Weight Distance Tax. This tax applies to any motor carrier with a weight of 60,000 pounds or more traveling in Kentucky.
SCAC code
The Standard Carrier Alpha Code(SCAC) is a 2-4 letter code which helps identify transportation companies. All carriers that cross US borders or do business with US agencies need a SCAC code. Any carrier doing intermodal loads at ports need a SCAC code since ports are considered international.
DOT Clearinghouse set up
The DOT clearinghouse is an online database that grants real-time access to information about drug and alcohol program violations of CDL drivers for employers and government agencies. Every trucking company who conducts drug tests are required to register and participate in this. Trucking companies are required to run queries for each driver they employ.
Authority Name Change
If you change your company name , or you're changing from a DBA to a LLC or Corp, then you are required to record this name change with the FMCSA.
Authority Reinstatement
If you have been out of business and need to restart your trucking company, we help do an authority reinstatement. We file all the paperwork necessary to reactivate your old USDOT, MC number, and other necessary permits.
Replace MC Authority Certificate
To book loads with brokers and shippers, you need a MC certificate. If you've lost your MC certificate or haven't received it yet, we can reorder one with the FMCSA and send it to you immediately.
